Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Limited Rajesh Gopinathan has tendered his resignation effective September 15, 2023, said the company in a BSE filing.

Rahul Gandhi said on Thursday that he went to Parliament and spoke with the Speaker (Lok Sabha) on his wish to speak. "Four ministers of the government had put allegations against me so, I have a right to keep my views in the house. I'm hopeful that I will be allowed to Speak in Parliament tomorrow" he added.

Karnataka govt raises salaries of employees of power companies, transport corporations

Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Thursday said the government has decided to hike the salaries of employees of Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) and the Electricity Supply Companies (ESCOMs) in the state by 20 per cent.

He also said the employees of transport corporations will also get a raise of 15 per cent in their salaries.
