After rail, it is now air corridor that will link Chhattisgarh’s major industrial areas with the state capital.Last year, the state government mooted a plan to develop rail corridors that would link state’s mineral-rich pockets with rail line. The work on the project has already started to make easy the transportation of raw materials.
Moving a step ahead, the industrial cities in the state will now be linked by air. The initiative was taken by the Chhattisgarh government that convinced the companies to operate air taxi in the state. The service that would ensure air taxi to Korba, Raigarh, Ambikapur and Jagdalpur—all industrial centres—would be provided by Chhattisgarh Aviation Academy.
