Coal ministry may give final report on missing allocation files to CBI on Friday

157 files and documents went missing while the coal scam inquiry has been going on

The coal ministry is likely to give its final report on the missing files of coal allocation to the Central Bureau of Investigation on Friday.

The report might have details of a few documents that could not be traced, sources said.

Of the 157 files missing, 74 relate to cases in the steel ministry’s domain and around 20 in the domain of the department of industrial policy and promotion under the commerce ministry.
