Education Quality Foundation launches India Education Awards

Education Quality Foundation of India (EQFI), an organisation committed to raise the benchmarks of quality in education, today announced the launch of the India Education Awards (IEA) in an effort to ensure quality in education. Educomp Solutions, an education company, will sponsor Rs 1 crore for these awards in a combination of cash, education grants and teacher exchange programmes with renowned global institutions.

IEA will target schools all over the country by geographical division into six zones. The nominations for IEA will open next year and the first edition of the awards are scheduled to be held early next year.
