Gandhar Gas Unit Gets Ccea Nod

The attorney-general,Soli Sorabjee, has cleared the legal fine print of the counter-guarantee for the 1,000 mw Vishakapatnam power project in Andhra Pradesh promoted by Hinduja-National Power.

However, the Centre has said it will not certify whether the pre-conditions under the counter-guarantee have been met. An official said: "The Centre will not give the cert
