Indian Commodity Exchange (ICEX), the new start in the commodity futures horizon, has launched the Gujarati version of its website (http://gujarati.icexindia.com/), to provide details on the commodity market, news updates on business and economy. Real-time updates on scrip movements, announcements, market data, market operations and Investor guidance in the Gujarati language are the key features on this website and will be a valuable guide for the members, traders, brokers and other market participants. The commodity futures trading since its introduction in 2003, has seen significant rise in the trading of agri and non-agri products. The objective of launching the website in vernacular languages is to provide actual benefit of price movements to the farmers, traders and actual users in their own language and develop the tremendous potential for the growth in the commodities market.

Rajnikant Patel, MD & CEO, ICEX said, “By launching the Gujarati website, our aim is to extend financial inclusion through the web media that will facilitate ease of comprehension and access to information for the market participants, along with educating investors, in the commodity markets space.”
