India's private investment cycle continues to remain elusive, as a spurt seen in capacity utilization in the March quarter has made a turnabout. The new timeline for a revival has now been pushed to 2019, according to industry experts and officials.

With utilization levels at 75 per cent, hopes for fresh private investments may have risen. However, the dip seen in the June quarter, and a similar performance expected for the September quarter, raise doubts on its trend.
