Odisha govt targets Rs 20,000 crore new investments in tourism sector

More than 12 million tourists visit Odisha every year, the numbers are growing up by 9-10% per year

The Odisha government has set a target of attracting new investments to the tune of Rs 20,000 crore in the tourism sector by 2021.

The tourism sector is one of the six focus sectors that the Odisha government has identified for attracting new investment.

Similarly, the state government has set a target of 23.84 million tourist arrivals and the creation of 2,500 star-category hotel rooms by 2021.
