Prime Minister calls meeting on inflation

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh arrived at 7 Race Course Road to discuss inflation with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, too arrived at the PM's residence to attend the meeting.

Earlier on Thursday, Union Minister Kalraj Mishra had spoken about how the new government was tackling inflation.

He said, "We are giving priority to all the issues of the people. We will try that inflation does not increase. The Prime Minister is seeking information from every ministry and we want to create faith among the people. You cannot control inflation within one month and we are trying hard that inflation does not increase now.
