Punjab gets award

Punjab has been awarded the Best Performance Award under the National Food Security Mission for Wheat for 2008-09 for best overall performance in terms of organisation and management of various resources.

The award was presented by Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar during the National Conference for Rabi crops at New Delhi.
