RBI to decide on bank probe: Pranab Mukherjee

The Reserve Bank can take a decision on conducting any further investigation into financial irregularities reported at Maharashtra State Cooper-ative Bank, Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee said. He was replying to a question whether the finance ministry would institute a CBI inquiry into irregularities, which were found in Maharashtra State Coopera-tive Bank by Nabard in 2010.
