Supreme Court Hearing On Property Law

A seven-judge Constitution Bench of the Supreme Court has started hearing a number of petitions moved by the Property Owners' Association of Mahara-shtra raising questions that will have deep impact on the right to hold property. The points were earlier argued before a five-judge bench, which referred them to the larger Bench considering the importance of the issue.
