WB govt mulls set-up of energy conservation fund

The West Bengal government is mulling to set-up a state energy conservation fund.

Speaking on the sidelines of a function on the observance of th  National Energy Conservation day, Sunil Mitra, additional chief secretary,  department of power said, his ministry was in talks with the state finance ministry for funds in this regards. The proposal was still at a nascent stage, he added.
