Narmada district eyes record over voter drive

Tribal-dominated Narmada district in Gujarat is vying for an entry into the record books for creating voter awareness. A voter awareness campaign was carried yesterday in the district, where a total of 67,312 signatures were obtained in a single day, Rakesh Shankar, District Electoral Officer said. The previous world record is of around 25,000 signatures in a day.
