Aegon Religare Life Insurance (ARLI) has chalked out an aggressive business plan this fiscal, besides increasing its topline backed by expansion of its current distribution network. North-East is also "on the radar" of the company as it aims big in the region in future and at least a four-fold increase in its business this fiscal.
In 2010-11, the company targets a total premium receipt of Rs 500 crore as against Rs 166 crore in 2009-10, thus a three-fold increase. "The focus this year would be to expand distribution by increasing the branch network, hiring more advisors and relationship managers and increasing the footprint of third party distribution with focus on acquiring a bank partner," said Yateesh Srivastava, chief marketing officer of ARLI.
