Govt May Transfer Idbi Stake To Banks
The Centre is considering an option to transfer or part-sell its stake in the Industrial Development Bank of India to banks and insurance companies. The government holds a 58.47 per cent stake in IDBI.
The matter was discussed at last weeks meeting convened by finance secretary S Narayan on restructuring IDBI and IFCI Ltd.
