IDBI floats portal for retailing govt bonds

IDBI Bank has set up an online portal for retailing bonds by the central and state governments, respectively. Retail investors with access to internet and demat accounts would be able to buy and sell government bonds through IDBI Bank’s website.

The public sector bank will act as a market maker, providing liquidity for bonds with different maturities.
