US indices end flat

Dollar upsurge and the sliding oil prices failed to lift the US market sentiment on Monday. While the Nasdaq was down five points at 2,082, the Dow Jones finished largely unchanged from its last close at 10,716.

Indian ADRs largely ended on a weak note yesterday. Infosys dropped 2% to $67.43, while Satyam and Wipro were down a per cent each at $24.30 and $21.73, respectively.

While Dr. Reddy's ended marginally lower at $17.10, VSNL was unchanged at $10.15. ICICI Bank, however, moved up nearly 2% to $21.26, and HDFC Bank clocked a per cent gain to $45.
