ACC Appointments
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the following :
(i) The assignment of additional charge of the post of Secretary, Department of Border Management, Ministry of Home Affairs to Shri Hem Kumar Pande, IAS (WB:1982); Secretary, Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs for the period from 09.04.2016 to 24.04.2016 during the absence on leave of Shri Anoop Kumar Srivastava, IAS (AM:1981).
(ii) The assignment of additional charge of the post of Home Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs to Shri Ratan P.Watal, IAS (AP:1978), Finance Secretary, for the period from 09.04.2016 to 24.04.2016 during the absence on leave of Shri Rajiv Mehrishi, IAS( RJ:1978).
(iii) Extension of Central Deputation tenure of Dr.Smita Chugh, IAS(JH:1980), Member Secretary, Tariff Commission under the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Ministry of Commerce and Industry for a period three months beyond 10.04.2016 that is till 10.07.2016
