Boxer Mandeep Jangra Receives Arjuna Award 2015
Minister of State (I/C) for Youth affairs and Sports Shri Sarbananda Sonowal here today conferred Arjuna Award 2015 in the discipline of Boxing to Mandeep Jangra. He received statuette, certificate and award money of Rs.5 lakh. Boxer Mandeep Jangra could not receive the Arjuna Award from President of India on 29August 2015 as he was taking part in an international boxing tournament abroad. AD/
