Memorandum of Understanding between India and China on cooperation in the fields of mining and mineral sector
The Union Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, today gave its approval for signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between India and the People's Republic of China on cooperation in the field of mining and mineral sector. The MOU will provide an institutional mechanism between India and the People's Republic of China on cooperation in the field of mining and mineral sector.
The MoU will help in exchange of information on resources, laws and policy; organization of seminars to exchange views on development strategies; encouragement of transfer of technologies and promotion of value addition.
