Roundtable on innovations in medical science and biotechnology held in Rashtrapati Bhavan today
A roundtable on Innovations in Medical Science and Biotechnology was held at Rashtrapati Bhavan today (March 16, 2016) on the fifth day of the ongoing Festival of Innovations (March 12-19, 2016).
An exhibition of outstanding innovations in medical science and bio-technology and an interaction of scientists with grassroots innovators was also organized today.
Speakers at the roundtable included Shri Shripad Yesso Naik, Minister of State (I/C) of AYUSH and Health and Family Welfare; Dr. Soumya Swaminathan, DG, ICMR and Secretary, Department of Health Research; Prof. K Vijay Raghavan, Secretary, Department of Biotechnology; Shri Ajith M Sharan, Secretary of AYUSH; Dr V K Subburaj, Secretary, Department of Pharmaceuticals; and Prof. I. Manna, Director, IIT Kanpur.
