Ahmedabad-based pharmaceutical company Claris Lifesciences is all set to offer management education and professional courses for the healthcare industry.
The company has announced plans to launch the Xcellon Institute in the city to offer a post-graduate programme in healthcare business and short-term certificate courses in clinical research. The academic session starts from July this year.
Aditya Handa, founder and director of Xcellon, said that the institute has been launched “...to offer training and education opportunities for managers to adapt to the new environment amid global integration by re-inventing their practices.”
The short-term certificate courses include diplomas in clinical investigation, clinical research, clinical statistics and project management for clinical research organisations.
Claris was founded in 1999 and is spread across enteral and parenteral nutrition, anaesthesia, blood products and plasma volume expanders, anti-infectives, dialysis and transplant, cardiac care and others.
