Smartinvestor : The markets have been under pressure since the last few trading sessions. What are you advising your clients at the current juncture? Should one avoid fresh investments till the RBI's policy is over?

Gaurav Ratnaparkhi : My sense is that Nifty is in short term as well as medium term downtrend so I am advising clients to trad on the short side of the market. Fresh investments are better avoided at this point of time

Smartinvestor : Can you suggest a few stocks (along with targets) that one can short?
 

Gaurav Ratnaparkhi : Bharti with targets of 300 - 291.50, Tata Steel for targets of 344.50 - 338, Tata Motors for targets of 285 - 280.5

Smartinvestor : What about stocks like Titan Industries, Gitanjali Gems and TTK Prestige? They have seen a lot of action since the past few sessions.
