Gram and kabli gram prices fell by up to Rs 100 per quintal in the wholesale pulses market today on sluggish demand at prevailing levels against adequate supply.
Market analysts said sluggish demand from retailers at prevailing higher levels against sufficient stocks positions put pressure on gram and kabli gram prices.
In the national capital, gram declined by Rs 25 to Rs 2,925-3,025, while its dal local and best quality lost Rs 100 each to Rs 3,350-3,450 and Rs 3,550-3,650 per quintal, respectively.
Kabli gram also eased by Rs 100 to Rs 5,500-7,900 per quintal. Besin, both Shaktibhog and Rajdhani brand, shed Rs 20 each to Rs 1,440 per 35 kg bag.
