Jet Airways, SpiceJet, Berger Paints, Reliance Communications (RCom), Petronet LNG, Aurobindo Pharma, Srei Infrastructure Finance, Himachal Futuristic Communication (HFCL) and TV Today Network are among 19 stocks from the BSE500 index that hit their respective 52-week highs today.
Including, Tide Water Oil (India), Loyal Textiles, Ashapura Minechem, Kajaria Ceramics, and Mafatlal Industries are among the 208 stocks that hit 52-week highs.
Tide Water Oil (India) surged 19% to Rs 28,820, extending its 39% rally in past four trading sessions on the BSE after the company announced bonus issue and stock split plans.
The board of directors of the company will meet on January 15, 2016, to consider declaration of bonus issue and share split to/for the shareholders at such rate/ratio to be decided therein.
Srei Infrastructure Finance has zoomed 19% to Rs 61.40 on the BSE on back of over 10-fold jump in trading volumes after the company said BNP Paribas Lease Group will acquire 5% stake in the company.
Srei Infrastructure Finance Limited (SREI), BNP Paribas Lease Group (BPLG), Srei Equipment Finance Limited (SEFL), Srei Growth Trust, Mr. Hemant Kanoria and Mr. Sunil Kanoria have entered into a share purchase agreement whereby BPLG has agreed to acquire 25.15 million representing 5% of total equity of SREI and in lieu thereof, sell its entire shareholding of 29.83 million or 50% stake of SEFL to SREI, the company said in a BSE filing.
Allcargo Logistics was up nearly 3% at Rs 427, extending its past four days 18% gain on the BSE. The company has fixed December 31, 2015 as a record date for the purpose of issue of bonus shares in the ratio of 1:1 i.e. one bonus share for every equity share held in the company.
