The markets are exhibiting lacklustre movement in noon trades amid lack of any major cues from the Europeam bourses. The Sensex is at 18254, up 37 points. The Nifty is marginally up six points at 5474.
On the BSE Sectoral Indices - Realty is up 1.6% continues its good run for the third consecutive day followed by IT index up 0.9%. The major movers in the Realty space are Phoenix Mills which has gained 9% followed by Unitech and Indiabulls Real Estate up 2% each. In the IT domain HCL Technologieshas surged nearly 3% followed by yesterday's major gainers Infosys and TCS.
Smallcap index is up 0.7% and continues its good run in comparison to Midcap index which is up 0.4% and the benchmark index up mere 0.1%.
On the Sensex - 30 stocks the major gainers are SBI which gained 2% trading at Rs 2650 followed by Tata Motors up 2% at Rs 859 and Maruti Suzuki at Rs 1,231 up 1.4%.
The major losers on the Sensex are ONGC down 1.3% at Rs 1247, Reliance Infrastructure down 1.2% and Reliance Communications at Rs 174 down 1.1%
The market breadth continues to be positive with 1,738 stocks have advanced as against 1,128 declines on the BSE.
