Markets have closed the trading session on a lower note amid volatility led by selling among auto and banking shares.
The Bombay Stock Exchange’s 30-share Sensex provisionally closed at 18,738 down 55 points. The National Stock Exchange’s 50-share S&P CNX Nifty provisionally closed at 5,651 down 8 points.
