Markets in red; JP Associates, HDFC drop 3%

The NSE Nifty is down five points at 4,157.

Satyam has plunged 3.3% to Rs 463.

Jaiprakash Associates, TCS and HDFC have shed 2.7% each to Rs 166, Rs 845 and Rs 2,060, respectively.

Infosys and Wipro have declined around 2% each to Rs 1,774 and Rs 423, respectively.

ICICI Bank and Mahindra & Mahindra have dropped 1.5% each to Rs 607 and Rs 529, respectively.

Hindalco has gained 2% at Rs 157. Ambuja Cements has moved up 1.6% to Rs 80.

Tata Motors, Bharti Airtel and ACC are up over 1% each at Rs 405, Rs 751 and Rs 559, respectively.
