Press Trust of India New Delhi

Pistachio prices drifted in the range of Rs 5-15 per kg in the national capital today, in view of sluggish demand from retailers and stockists at existing higher prices.

Adequate stocks position followed by increased arrivals from overseas markets also put pressure on pistachio prices.

Pistachio (Irani, hairati and peshawari) declined upto Rs 15 to settle at Rs 820-860, Rs 1,460-1,510 and Rs 1,650-1,670 per kg respectively.
