Markets closed higher for the third consecutive day as software services exporters gained in the noon deals. Also, firm Asian markets boosted the investor sentiment.
At close, the 30-share Sensex was up 33 points at 20,844 and the Nifty advanced 11 points to end the day at 6,197 (provisional).
