QFIs to deal only in listed debt securities, says Sebi

The Securities and Exchange Board of India said on Wednesday qualified foreign investors can only deal in debt securities that are listed on recognised stock exchanges. Sebi said purchase of corporate debt securities through public issues will be permitted only if the listing on recognised stock exchange is committed.
