The Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT) has dismissed the appeals filed by H N Bajaj and Rahul H Bajaj of Amara Raja Batteries Ltd, wherein they had asked for Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to be directed to provide them with material documents.
According to the Bajajs these documents would help them in preparing their defense to the show cause notice issued to them by Sebi, alleging market manipulation in the scrip price of Amara Raja.
Dismissing the appeal SAT has ruled that since Sebi has stated that no documents will be relied on without providing them to the Bajajs, there was no reason to
