Sensex down marginally; Satyam advances 2%

The Sensex is now down 48 points at 15,456.

The NSE Nifty is down two points at 4,618.

Satyam has surged 2% to Rs 419. NTPC and Wipro have advanced 1.3% each to Rs 188 and Rs 448, respectively.

ITC and Hindustan Unilever are up 1% each at Rs 195 and Rs 244, respectively.

Maruti has plunged 3.6% to Rs 690. HDFC and Sterlite have shed 2.7% each at Rs 2,500 and Rs 608, respectively.

ICICI Bank has slipped 2.3% to Rs 753, and Tata Motors has shed nearly 2% at Rs 439.

Mahindra & Mahindra has declined 1.4% to Rs 582. SBI and Infosys are down 1% each at Rs 1,575 and Rs 1,653, respectively.
