Sensex firmly up; DLF, Tata Motors zoom 13%

The Sensex touched a high of 10,432, and is now up 489 points at 10,391.
The BSE Realty index has soared 9.3% to 1,798. The Metal index has surged 8% to 6,293. The Capital Goods index has rallied 6.3% to 6,872, and the Bankex has gained 5.7% at 4,865.
DLF has zoomed 13.5% to Rs 200, and Tata Motors has soared 13% to Rs 203.
Jaiprakash Associates has surged over 12% to Rs 96. Reliance Communications has rallied nearly 10.5% to Rs 199.
Tata Steel has gained 8.8% at Rs 228. Larsen & Toubro, Mahindra & Mahindra and SBI have moved up around 8% each to Rs 727, Rs 426 and Rs 1,161, respectively.

Hindalco and Wipro have advanced around 7.5% each to Rs 57 and Rs 270, respectively.
Tata Power is up over 7% at Rs 852. Sterlite, TCS, HDFC, ONGC and Reliance Infrastructure are the other major gainers.
Hindustan Unilever, however, has slipped nearly 1.5% to Rs 234.
The market breadth is exremely positive - out of 2,545 stocks traded so far, 1,984 have advanced, 485 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
