Sensex recovers partially; JP Associates slips 5%

The NSE Nifty is down 25 points at 4,322.

Jaiprakash (JP) Associates has plunged 5% to Rs 158. Ranbaxy and Hindalco have shed 2.8% each at Rs 527 and Rs 157, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro, Reliance and Bharti Airtel have slipped 1.7% each to Rs 2,518, Rs 2,061 and Rs 754, respectively.

BHEL and ACC have declined 1.4% each to Rs 1,386 and Rs 617, respectively.

Cipla, HDFC, Reliance Infrastructure, HDFC Bank and Reliance Communications are down over 1% each.
