Silver futures marginally down by 0.2% on weak global trend
A weak trend in the white metal overseas on profit-booking, mainly weighed on silver prices

Tracking a weak trend overseas, silver futures prices today fell by Rs 80, or 0.19%, to Rs 41,776 per kg, as speculators trimmed positions.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver prices for delivery in September fell by Rs 80, or 0.19%, to Rs 41,776 per kg in business turnover of 500 lots.
Similarly, the white metal prices for delivery in far- month December lost Rs 71, or 0.17%, at Rs 42,568 per kg in three lots.

Meanwhile, silver shed 0.90% to $20.31 an ounce in Singapore today.
