TCS gains 2.4%; NTPC down 2.2%

The Nifty is trading 26 points lower at 4513 points.

Ranbaxy has gained 4.1% to Rs 543.50. TCS has advanced 2.4% to Rs 888. ICICI Bank is up 2% to Rs 742. Ambuja Cements has advanced 0.9% to Rs 85. Infosys is up 0.5% to Rs 1,877. SBI, Tata Motors, Satyam, Bhel and ACC have gained less than half per cent.

HUL has declined 2.6% to Rs 232. NTPC has dipped 2.2% to Rs 163. HDFC Bank and Maruti are down 2.1% to Rs 1,163 and Rs 736, respectively.

DLF has lost 1.9% to Rs  497. Cipla, Jaiprakash Associates, ITC, reliance Infrastructure, ONGC, Wipro, Bharti and Grasim are the other losers.
