Wockhardt has tanked almost 24% to Rs 1,243 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) during intra-day trade on heavy volumes.
The stock finally closed at Rs 1,328, down 18% from its previous close of Rs 1,625 on the NSE.
A combined 4.83 million shares representing 4.3% of total equity have changed hands on the counter on the NSE and BSE.
In past three trading sessions, the stock has plunged 24% from Rs 1,742 on April 22, 2015.
