Zinc down 0.27% on global cues

Weak copper demand affected the zinc trade

Zinc January futures traded lower by 30 paise, or 0.27%, to Rs 110.25 per kg in 1,251 lots.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, the February contract shed 30 paise, or 0.27% to Rs 111.25 per kg in 42 lots.

Weak spot demand, weak copper and other base metals at the London Metal Exchange weighed on the zinc futures.
