An earthquake of magnitude 5.3 on the Richter scale struck Afghanistan's Hindu Kush on Sunday afternoon.
According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the earthquake occurred 42 kilometres South of Jarm, Afghanistan at a depth of 204.2 km depth.
The tremor reportedly occurred at around 01:40 p.m. local time.
No loss of lives and properties have been reported so far.
