Annie Lennox calls Beyonce "feminist lite"

Annie Lennox recently told a website that she has a major problem with Beyonce proclaiming herself to be a feminist and called the singer "feminist lite."

The 59-year-old singer admits that she loves the 33-year old as a performer, but rejects her opinion of being a feminist, the Mirror reported.

She added that many artists do the same taking the word hostage to promote themselves and it is a 'cheap shot', as those artists are apparently selling sex.

Beyonce had called herself a feminist during MTV Video Music Awards last month.
