Arms cache recovered from Kashmir's Handwara District

Jammu and Kashmir Police and army soldiers busted two militant hideouts in the Hafruda Forests of the Handwara area of north Kashmir and recovered a large quantity of weapons and explosives.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Handwara, Maqsood Zaman, said, "We have made recovery from two hideouts which were busted in each area of the Hafruda forests of Handwara. It is believed to be one of the major recoveries done".

"We have around six AK - 47 riffles, one Pika riffle, Pakistani made pistol, eighteen rocket boosters, six rounds of RPG", he added.
