Basketball star Abdul-Jabbar says 'baseball was first love'

Legendary basketball star Kareem Abdul-Jabbar has admitted that he had once dreamed of playing baseball.

The former Los Angeles Laker star said that although he wanted to professional baseball team Los Angeles Dodgers, he did not do so as he felt that his fastball was not quite upto it, New York Post reports.

Stating that he is lucky that he got into basketball, Abdul-Jabbar further said that although he tried to play baseball, it did not work, for which he came into basketball.
