Two unidentified bike-borne assailants opened fire on Nalanda Medical College's senior resident doctor Praveen Jha's car last night.
Jha managed to escape unhurt, while his driver and compounder got seriously injured.
The incident took place in Dulhania Bazaar area of Patna.
The injured were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where they are currently undergoing treatment.
The police are currently investigating the matter.
