The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP)-led 20-party alliance will spearhead a six-hour-long strike in Sylhet tomorrow to protest against the detention of its city unit convener during Monday's day-long nation-wide shutdown.
According to the Daily Star, the alliance will observe the shutdown from 6 a.m. to noon tomorrow, city unit BNP Member Secretary Badruzzaman Selim announced from a protest rally this morning.
