Actor Vivek Oberoi on Thursday said that Gujarat Revenue Minister Anandiben Patel who will be taking over as the Chief Minister of the state today is a real life hero and a well experienced leader.
"Anandiben is a very senior and experienced leader. She has done great work as a leader for over 16 years. I have heard that he saved two of her students from drowning without caring about her own life, when she was a teacher," said Oberoi.
"We are reel heroes, but she is a real life hero. She has knowledge about many departments.
She will do good work," he said.
Patel will take over as Chief Minister of the state today.
According to media reports, the swearing in will take place at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar.
Some members of her council of ministers will also take oath today. She will succeed Narendra Modi who resigned as Chief Minister to become the Prime Minister of the country.
Anandiben Patel was elected leader of the Gujarat BJP Legislature Party in Gandhinagar yesterday.
Patel was looking after Revenue, Urban Development and Education in the present government.
