Bus plunges into Uttarakhand gorge, two dead, 15 injured

At least two people have died and 15 others were injured on Monday, when a bus in which they were travelling, fell into a gorge in Uttarakhand's Tehri District.

The accident happened at a gorge in the Kirtinagar area of the district.

The bus was on its way from Lambgaon to Srinagar in Pauri district, Kirtinagar police station authorities were quoted, as saying.

The injured have been admitted to the Shrikot Hospital, where the condition of five is said to be serious.

Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
