Clash between TMC, CPI (M) workers in Durgapur leave eight injured

A clash broke out between supporters of the All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) and the Left here on Tuesday.
Eight people were injured in the clash.
Reacting sternly, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) General Secretary Siddharth Nath Singh termed the clash as a 'script' which the TMC and the Communist Party of India (Marxist) CPI(M) had scripted.
"It's just a script, TMC-CPI(M) are writing to give an impression that they are fighting each other," said Singh told ANI here.
"They both follow similar policy of hooliganism in West Bengal, they are together working in tandem to stop BJP," he added.
