CM Khattar defers his visit to Ballabhgarh, highway cleared

Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Wednesday deferred his visit to Ballabhgarh to meet the family of the victims who were burnt to death after their home was set on fire.

Tension gripped Ballabhgarh after the villagers blocked the Faridabad Agra National Highway, placing the bodies of the Dalit victims on the road, demanding the arrest of the perpetrators.

Though Haryana Police cleared the Highway (NH-2) by chasing the protesters away and ensured that the bodies were taken away, the situation remains tense.

The mother of the children is battling for life at Delhi's Safdarjung Hospital.
